Are MI Union Bosses Counting on GOP Gov to Protect Forced Unionism?

In a news analysis published today, Michigan carpenters union bigwig Mike Jackson is quoted praising GOP Gov. Rick Snyder as “the union firewall” holding at bay the many state legislators in his own party who want to pass a state Right to Work law banning the termination of employees for refusal to pay dues or fees to an unwanted union.  Columnist Tim Skubick concludes his analysis with another quote from Mr. Jackson insisting that Big Labor is counting on Mr. Snyder to protect forced unionism:

The governor “is the big reason why we don’t have Right to Work. It’s working,” and then he quickly ads, “so far” with his fingers and toes crossed.
