Desperate For Members, AFL-CIO Continues to Invite Anyone With A Breath to Join

Calling their inability to convince workers to join and stay in a union, a “crisis,” the AFL-CIO announced it would now invite anyone to join and have the privilege of paying tribute to the union bosses.  The Hill reports “[T]he move faced stiff resistance from union officials who fear the AFL-CIO’s primary mission of representing workers will be left behind if the federation becomes a mouthpiece for liberal and progressive groups.
