Major Companies Choose Right to Work Virginia

Three major companies are adding new locations soon in Right to Work Virginia. This are Walgreens, Amazon, and AutoZone. Altogether, they will create a total of 1,101 new jobs across the state. So these are more great examples of how Right to Work states help both businesses and workers.

Walgreens:

Walgreens is investing $34.2 million toward a new facility in Right to Work Hanover County, Virginia. This will also create 249 new jobs.

“The pandemic has increased demand for providers like Walgreens to provide efficient services for a growing customer base and its new, state-of-the-art facility in Hanover County will enhance the company’s supply chain. […] This great project is a win for Virginia’s logistics industry. We are confident that Walgreens will thrive in the greater Richmond region.” […]

Amazon:

Amazon is adding a new fulfillment center soon in Right to Work Fishersville, Virginia. This will create 500 new jobs as a result!

“This new 1 million-square-foot fulfillment center in Augusta County will enhance Amazon’s supply chain and create 500 valuable jobs for the Shenandoah Valley. […] Virginia’s position as a premier logistics destination is bolstered by continued investments from industry leaders like Amazon, which is catalyzing economic development in regions across the Commonwealth.” […]

“It has been a great pleasure to work with the Amazon team and Augusta County to secure this major expansion by one of the world’s largest corporations. […] We are excited about the expanded logistics infrastructure that will exist as a result of Amazon’s location.”

AutoZone:

AutoZone is investing $185.2 million in order to add a new location in Right to Work New Kent County, Virginia. As a result, this will create 352 new jobs!

“AutoZone’s newest distribution operation in New Kent County will enable the company to easily access 47 percent of U.S. consumers within a one-day drive and global markets through The Port of Virginia. […] With more than 4,600 supply chain operations located throughout the Commonwealth, Virginia has emerged as a premier logistics destination serving as a single gateway into critical customer markets. We look forward to a continued partnership with AutoZone.” […]
