Following Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s GOP nomination for Vice President of the United States, the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation released an open letter from Foundation President Mark Mix to her husband, Todd Palin.
Quote Mr. Mix:
We understand you are a member of the United Steelworkers of America union. While I’m sure you’re excited by your wife’s candidacy for high office, you may be discouraged to learn that the union dues you pay are already being used to defeat her.
Thanks to the Committee's election-year program, union-label candidates like Sen. Jon Tester (Mont.) are being given a choice: pledge to change course and support Right to Work going forward, or face the potential political consequences.
