Begging for AFL-CIO support for his floundering presidential campaign, Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE) said at a recent event in Florida:
“If the most cherished right a country can give a citizen is the ability to vote . . . all you got to do is walk in and sign your name and be registered to vote . . . Why should it be any different to organize a union?’’
That leaves us wondering if Biden would support efforts to allow Americans to register to vote – but, not allow them to vote?
That’s what he is advocating.
After calling voting “the MOST cherished right” he then says union organizers should allow workers to register to vote — and not exercise their most cherished right.
