The Associated Press, in a clearly biased article, points out the reality that some Republicans are in bed with big labor, often undercutting efforts to provide Right to Work protection to workers. We are well aware of Indiana’s Gov. Mitch Daniels sabotaging a Right to Work law for Indiana but we have seen others turn tail and run in other states as well. As the article notes, “some Republican lawmakers who represent more heavily unionized areas have teamed up with Democrats to protect unions from the legislation.”
The fact remains, Right to Work is not a partisan issue. In fact, Right to Work is about taking on the establishment and defeating the powerful triangle of big business, big labor and big government. We are making huge progress on this critical issue, despite what the naysayers at the Associated Press would like to claim.
