Since Big Labor-backed legislation repealing Right to Work protections for employees went into effect in early 2024, the state has gone from adding jobs to losing them.
The New York City Sanitation union decided to take their time plowing and cleaning the streets after a record snowfall to send a message to the politicians over potential budget cuts bring the city to a halt. Apparently the safety of the people who pay their salaries is not a priority to the union bosses.
This is just one more example of the damage done by granting union officials monopoly power over government workers.
