How Many Jobs Are Coming to Right to Work Tennessee?

Tennessee’s economy just continues to grow! Three of the most recent business investments in the state come from IGT Technologies, Sungwoo Hitech, and Amazon. All of these great companies are creating hundreds of new jobs. In fact, when added all together, they will create 817 new jobs across the state. So this is exciting news! It also shows how Right to Work economies are always flourishing.

IGT Technologies:

IGT Technologies is expanding soon in Right to Work Knoxville, Tennessee with a $3.9 million investment. This will also create 200 new jobs!

“We selected Knoxville after evaluating several locations in the U.S. on various parameters. We’re very pleased with the support that Chamber, local government, and schools have extended to IGT. We look forward to establishing Knoxville as our Customer Experience Incubation Center.” […]

Sungwoo Hitech:

Sungwoo Hitech is adding its first-ever US manufacturing location in Right to Work Telford, Tennessee with a $40 million investment. This will create 117 new jobs!

“Sungwoo Hitech has experienced significant growth, and we are excited to now bring our first production facility to the U.S., in particular, Washington County, Tennessee. The support that we have received from the local, county and state government and from many others has been astounding. This is our first plant in the United States, but we see this as a stepping stone for future growth. We plan to invest and grow in this region and make a positive impact to the community.” […]

“We welcome Sungwoo Hitech America to Tennessee and appreciate the company’s decision to call Washington County home to its first U.S. manufacturing operations. This $40 million investment will bolster our state’s reputation as a leader in automotive manufacturing while providing nearly 120 job opportunities in Northeast Tennessee.” […]

“South Korean companies employ nearly 3,500 Tennesseans, and of that, more than 1,000 are employed in the manufacturing industry. Amazon:

Amazon is adding a new fulfillment center soon in Right to Work Clarksville, Tennessee. This will also create 500 new jobs for the area!

With starting pay of more than $15 an hour as well as comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, plus 401k, paid parental leave and more, we are excited to offer new opportunities to this talented local workforce.” […]
