U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) introduced the Empower Employees Act to end federal tax dollars being spent to collect labor union dues, ending another federal government subsidy provided for labor unions.
“Taxpayer dollars should not be used to collect union dues – plain and simple,” Scott said. “We don’t begrudge anyone the right to join a union, but collecting dues is a responsibility that falls to the unions themselves.”

"[Spanberger] voted twice for the so-called ‘PRO Act,’ which would have destroyed the Virginia and every other state Right to Work law, and cosponsored it one last time before stepping down to run for governor."
