The AFL-CIO’s American Center for International Labor Solidarity has received nearly $30 million in taxpayer dollars from the Department of Labor, State Department and National Endowment for Democracy. Taxpayers subsidize 96% of the groups’ funds. In addition to getting their hands in workers’ pockets through mandated union dues, the bosses are using their allies in government to get their hands in the other pocket.
