Speaker Kevin McCarthy has vowed that the House will “use the power of the purse” to “check” Big Labor President Joe Biden’s policies.
The Big Labor payoff continues as the Obama Administration continues to reward union bosses for their unprecedented support in the 2008 elections. The latest payoff centers on the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) decision allow airport screeners to unionize and collectively bargain for more taxpayer money and benefits. The giveaway will cost taxpayers hundreds millions of dollars but when it comes to rewarding their union benefactors, costs (and national security concerns) be damned. Looks like airport screeners will soon be receiving pat-down themselves.
