The reasons why the American schools are failing are these: 1. You have too many bureaucrats involved in the school districts and boards in the USA. 2. You have too much corruption going on with those school boards and districts. 3. Too many schools here in Philadelphia where I live are failing due to mismanagement of funding from state and federal entities. 4. My child’s school was a failing school but was taken over by a charter school group and she’s an honor student. 5. Many children do not want to go to the regular public schools here in Philadelphia because there is too much violence associated with them and not enough security personnel to ensure their safety in and around school and outside of school. 6. I am a proud member of a labor union with my job and also a republican committeeperson in my community as well as a member of the PTA and the School Advisory council at my daughter’s school. 7. I was educated in the Catholic tradition and never went to public school. 8. Increase the funding for charter schools and make school vouchers available to those parents who want to send their children to quality schools who educate them so they can be productive members of society. 9. FIX the economy, Stupid!
