AFL-CIO Targets Union Dues Money for More Campaign Spending
Politico reports that the union bosses at the AFL-CIO will be spending vast amounts of union dues money to on gubernatorial elections in the coming election cycle:
AFL-CIO bosses plan to throw their “political weight most heavily into a half-dozen governors’ races in the 2014 cycle, focusing on states where the outcome of gubernatorial elections will be most ‘consequential’ for union members and working-class voters, the AFL-CIO’s top strategist said Tuesday.”
