Businesses are choosing to invest in the state of Kansas, likely as a result of it’s Right to Work laws. The most recent Right to Work Kansas investments are coming from Harris Fabrication, as well as Integra Technologies and Orange EV. Read on in order to learn more!
Harris Fabrication:
Harris Fabrication is investing $2.1 million in order to expand and create 30 new jobs in Right to Work Topeka, Kansas.
“Harris Fabrication is one of the local companies helping put Topeka/Shawnee County on the map as a hub for manufacturing. […] When they were first considering expansion, the company started working with GO Topeka on the small-business side to see if small-business incentives might be a good fit. It quickly became clear the ambitious scope of their project would be better suited to traditional expansion incentives. It’s exciting to see Harris Fabrication going that route, as they grow right here at home. I have no doubt their innovative approach to business will continue to positively impact this community.”
Integra Technologies is investing $1.8 billion in order to add a new location in Right to Work Wichita, Kansas and create 2,000 new jobs.
“On behalf of our employee-owners, we are especially grateful for Governor Kelly, Lt. Governor Toland, and Kansas legislative leadership on the State Finance Council for supporting Integra with its premier economic development program, positioning us to transform domestic Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test services while expanding in our home state.” […]
“Kansas is doubling down on its commitment to be at the forefront of this emerging and innovative industry. […] Integra’s plans matched perfectly with the state’s push to diversify our economy and we couldn’t be happier they chose to make this investment right in their backyard.” […]
“This catalytic opportunity is especially exciting because it provides for a local, proven, employee-owned company to increase our nation’s competitiveness and security. […] It also continues to strengthen and build depth in the Wichita region’s leadership in advanced manufacturing, including in semiconductors, while providing training and development opportunities for the vast expertise our talent has in this area.”
Orange EV will soon be establishing headquarters in Right to Work Kansas City, Kansas. So this is exciting news for the area’s economy!
“Our growth and success are a tribute to the efforts and expertise of our employees. Orange EV appreciates the collaboration of the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas, the Kansas Department of Commerce and the Kansas City Board of Public Utilities for their engagement in supporting Orange EV’s growth in Kansas.”
“Locating another EV manufacturer to Kansas delivers a charge to this developing sector. […] Orange EV is the kind of industry leader our state will continue recruiting as Kansas becomes the epicenter of sustainable transportation.”
