Right to Work Virginia Sees More Economic Growth

Virginia’s Right to Work laws provide many benefits for businesses, and these investments are proof. The most recent investments are coming from Signco and BIO-CAT, as well as Rocket Lab USA and Alarm.com. Read on in order to learn more about each individual investment!

Signco:

Signco is adding a new location soon in Right to Work Bluefield, Virginia, with a $650,000 investment. This will also create 19 new jobs!

“Signco was drawn to expand operations in Tazewell County after recognizing the potential of a specialized workforce that possessed strong core values of family and innovation. […] The prospective outcome of revitalizing the economy during the pandemic was also a huge incentive. Furthermore, the Commonwealth of Virginia’s generous incentive programs allow Signco to begin operations immediately and project growth opportunities to increase staff and continue to service current clients as well as several other national brands.” […]

BIO-CAT:

BIO-CAT Microbials is investing $35 million in order to expand in Right to Work Troy, Virginia. This will also create 20 new jobs!

“This expansion will be a huge boon for our fermentation capabilities, allowing us to further scale our production to supply customers and partners, both old and new, with the best microbial products on the market. […] The plans we have in place will make our Troy facilities truly best-in-class. We’re looking forward to breaking ground and getting started.”

The company currently performs all fermentation in its Shakopee, Minnesota manufacturing site, but the expansion of the Troy, Virginia facility will provide BIO-CAT Microbials’ customers with manufacturing redundancy that will further solidify supply chain reliability, which has become increasingly important in today’s market.

Rocket Lab USA:

Rocket Lab USA is adding a new launch site soon in Right to Work Accomack County, Virginia, creating 250 new jobs as a result!

“Virginia is home to an active and experienced aerospace workforce we can pull from to support Neutron’s development and launch. I’m thankful for the Commonwealth’s enthusiasm and backing of Neutron which, combined with the state’s rich heritage as an aerospace state, made it difficult to see anywhere else but Virginia as Neutron’s future home.” […]

Alarm.com is investing $2.6 million in order to expand headquarters in Right to Work Fairfax County, Virginia. The will also create 180 new jobs!
