Businesses are Locating to Right to Work Mississippi

Three companies have plans to soon add a new location in Right to Work Mississippi. These are Albany Industries, Enviva, and Baxter. Altogether, they will create 390 new jobs. So this is great economic news for the state. It also shows how companies choose Right to Work states over others and create new opportunities there.

Albany Industries:

Albany Industries is adding a new location in Right to Work Calhoun City, Mississippi. This will create 85 new jobs as a result!

We were impressed with Calhoun City when we first visited, and we soon decided this was the place we wanted our next operation. Enviva is investing $250 million in order to add a new location in Right to Work Bond, Mississippi. As a result, this will create 100 new jobs!

“Our new plant in Bond is an integral part of Enviva’s growth strategy, which includes doubling production capacity over the next five years as we work to meet the growing global demand for our renewable products that help our customers around the world facilitate the energy transition and displace fossil fuel inputs to decarbonize difficult to abate industries.” […]

“Enviva’s decision to invest a quarter of a billion dollars and create 100 new jobs in Mississippi is another tremendous win for our state’s economy. It’s further proof that Mississippi is a prime location for manufacturing.” […]

Baxter International in investing a total of $11.6 million toward a new location in Right to Work Byhalia, Mississippi. This will also create 105 new jobs!

Marshall County is an ideal location for our operations. We are excited to expand our presence in Mississippi by becoming a part of the Byhalia community.” […]
