Right to Work Indiana Welcomes $699 Million in Investments!

Right to Work Indiana will soon be welcoming $699 million from business investments. These will come from Nucor and and Sazerac. Nucor is investing into the economy in order to expand. Meanwhile, Sazerac is adding a new location within the state. Both of these will be great economic additions to the state!

Nucor:

Nucor Corporation is investing $290 million in order to expand in Right to Work Crawfordsville, Indiana, creating 80 new jobs!

“Investing in Nucor Steel Indiana will allow us to grow our profitability in the Midwest construction region and expand Nucor’s prepaint footprint. […] This investment is part of our strategy to grow our core steel businesses and expand our portfolio of value-added products.” […]

Nucor Steel Indiana was Nucor’s first steel sheet mill, starting operations in 1989. The Crawfordsville mill is where the company pioneered electric arc furnace thin-slab casting. Since this breakthrough, Nucor has continued to invest in advanced sheet steel products and technologies.

Sazerac:

Sazerac Company is investing $409 million in order to add a new location in Right to Work Charlestown, Indiana. This will create 269 new jobs!
