Right to Work Kentucky Welcomes Distilleries and More

Companies are choosing to invest in Kentucky, likely as a result of its Right to Work policies. After all, Right to Work states provide more opportunities for companies while also creating new jobs. Some of the most recent Right to Work Kentucky investments are coming from Four Roses Distillery and Heaven Hill Distillery. But whiskey and bourbon companies aren’t the only ones attracted to the state. Sitex Corp and OBT Ashland are also investing here. Read on to find out more!

Four Roses Distillery:

Four Roses Distillery is adding new locations in Right to Work Coxs Creek, Kentucky with a $23 million investment.

Heaven Hill Distillery:

Heaven Hill Distillery is investing $135 million in order to add a new location in Right to Work Bardstown, Kentucky. This will also create 38 new jobs!

Sitex Corp:

SITEX is investing $4.5 million in order to expand in Right to Work Henderson, Kentucky. This will also create 30 new jobs!

“This continued investment in our Henderson facility will create more opportunities for Henderson-area residents and support our company’s growth in Kentucky as well as our other locations.” […]

By meeting its annual targets over the agreement term, the company can be eligible to keep a portion of the new tax revenue it generates. The company may claim eligible incentives against its income tax liability and/or wage assessments. In addition, SITEX can receive resources from Kentucky’s workforce service providers. Those include no-cost recruitment and job placement services, reduced-cost customized training and job-training incentives.

OBT Ashland:

OBT Ashland is investing $45 million in order to add a new location in Right to Work Greenup County, Kentucky. This will create 55 new jobs!
