What Economic Developments are Happening in Mississippi?

Right to Work Mississippi is seeing many new economic developments. In this post, we’re going to give you a glimpse into companies that are locating and relocating, as well as expanding here. Camgian Microsystems will be expanding soon in Right to Work Starkville. Meanwhile, Viking Metal is adding a new location in Philadelphia. And lastly, Edelbrock is relocating to Olive Branch. Camgian Microsystems:

Camgian Microsystems is expanding soon in Right to Work Starkville, Mississippi. This will help them develop technology for the military.

Viking Metal:

Viking Metal is adding a new location soon in Right to Work Philadelphia, Mississippi with a $908,000 investment. This will also create 15 new jobs!

“Manufacturers, large and small, drive community economies throughout the state, including in Philadelphia. Viking Metal’s new Neshoba County operations will provide over a dozen great jobs for the area’s workforce, which in turn will have a lasting positive impact on the region’s economy. MDA appreciates the Community Development Partnership of Neshoba County for working to bring this project full-circle.” […]

“We want to thank the Mississippi Development Authority, city of Philadelphia, Wells-Lamont, East Central Planning and Development District and City Building Official Jay Eakes for working with Barry and Viking Metal to complete this project.”

Edelbrock:

Edelbrock is investing $14.4 million in order to relocate to Right to Work Olive Branch, Mississippi. This will also create 200 new jobs for the area.
