Trump’s labor pick, Lori Chavez-DeRemer, backed a forced-dues bill, raising concerns among Right to Work supporters.
After a nearly four-hour debate, in a committee room ringed by chanting union members, a Senate committee voted 7-6 to refer the Right to Work constitutional amendment to its next stop at the Senate Rules Committee. Needless to say, the union bosses are not pleased.

Unless it is repealed or dramatically pared back, the IRA is expected to cost American taxpayers $1.5 trillion over the next 10 years and $4 trillion by 2050.
While Americans overwhelmingly support the Right to Work principle, Joe Biden was committed to wiping out all state Right to Work laws. As he put it, “I’m a union President. Make no bones about it.”
