Ignoring ample evidence of forced unionism’s unfairness and its damaging impact on jobs and incomes, Big Labor Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer signed Right to Work destruction in 2023.
Shintech and International Paper are companies that will soon be expanding their current facilities in Louisiana. Shintech will be creating 30 direct jobs, as well as 159 indirect jobs altogether between Iberville and Baton Rouge parishes. International Paper will also be creating jobs, but it will be 492 new jobs in Bogalusa. Meanwhile, Arq and Amazon are adding new locations. Arq will be creating 12 new jobs in St. Rose while Amazon will create 500 new jobs in Carencro.
